Dental Implants
What are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are metal posts or frames surgically placed into the jawbone to support artificial teeth. They are a permanent solution for missing or damaged teeth and can improve the appearance, function, and comfort of your smile.

What are Some of the Benefits of Dental Implants?
Dental implants offer several benefits, including:
- Improved appearance: Implants look and feel like natural teeth, enhancing your smile and facial aesthetics.
- Improved function: Implants function like natural teeth, allowing you to eat and speak with ease and comfort.
- Long-lasting: With proper care, implants can last a lifetime, making them a cost-effective solution for missing teeth.
- Prevent bone loss: Implants stimulate the jawbone, preventing bone loss and preserving facial structure.
- No damage to adjacent teeth: Unlike traditional bridges, implants don't require adjacent teeth to be ground down, preserving the natural teeth.

There are 3 types of dental implants:
- Single Tooth Implant: A single tooth implant is a dental procedure that replaces a missing tooth with an artificial tooth. It consists of a small post (implant) placed into the jawbone, an abutment that connects to the implant, and a crown attached to the abutment, creating a durable and natural-looking replacement tooth.
- Implant for several teeth: Multiple tooth implants replace two or more missing teeth using multiple posts, connectors, and crowns for a natural-looking smile.
- Replacing all teeth with implants: All teeth replacement involves surgically placing multiple implants in the jaw and attaching a full arch of artificial teeth.
